In this video I review the Godox Litemons LA150R and LA300R, and make a few comparisons to the Amaran 150c and 300c.
The Godox Litemons LA series is better in some ways, some significantly so, but has one potential deal breaker.
The full color screen and control setup makes navigating settings easier, especially its fantastic gel mode and special effects.
It's also has much stronger output than most other RGB capable lights when it comes to color, coming in around 4x (or 2-full stops) brighter.
Since these lights have RGB support, you do get tint control, which is a big bonus, but I was surprised to see the color accuracy measurements in CCT mode.
The Godox Litemons LA150R and LA300R might be the perfect budget-friendly RGB light, depending on how you plan to use it.
