3 Reasons the Blue Sona is the Best Microphone for Creators

Thanks to Logitech for sponsoring this video!

In this video I quickly review the Blue Sona dynamic microphone from Logitech for Creators. This may be the best mic for streaming, podcasting, and content creation, and I'll tell you three big reasons why.

Unlike the Shure SM7B, it features a built-in gain booster (ClearAmp) so it works seamlessly with any audio interface that supports phantom power, without the need for additional accessories.

It's also a great value compared to similar mics, partially because you don't have to buy something like the Cloudlifter CL-1 just to get it to function properly, which is around $150 by itself.

A lot of research and thought went into the design and development of this mic, and it shows. The hidden bass cut and presence boost switches, the location of the XLR port, and the extra large tension adjustment knob all make it one of the most user friendly mics I've ever tested.

Lastly, the Blue Sona just sounds great, so if you're looking to get into gaming, podcasting, or content creation in general, it's definitely worth checking out.
