A similar index to CRI, but while CRI assumes a human observer, TLCI calculates the color response that would result when viewed by a camera, theoretically making it more accurate for photographers and filmmakers.
TLCI is an improvement upon CRI, but can still be manipulated by manufacturers because it only measures a limited number of colors.
